Raised by a mother with a tendency to over-plan and a father who improvises through the day, I discovered a beautiful medium between linear and lateral thinking. As a designer, I understand the benefit of a well-thought-out plan and purposeful decisions, but I also have a deep appreciation for the unknown and the great things we create from not having predetermined solutions. The beauty in this polarity allows me to keep my design process flexible in order to create organic solutions — tailored to each creative brief and relatable across print, digital, and spatial environments.
I am a visual communication designer captivated by paradoxes, language, and experimentation. My work revolves around translating these observations into visual human narratives through a wide breadth of projects.
My specialities include brand strategy + concept development, print, spatial, and identity development. During my time at ArtCenter, I developed projects in collaboration with designmatters and Study Away programs. Since receiving my B.F.A. in Graphic Design in December 2015, I have worked for a range of clients and products in music, healthcare, fitness, hospitality, real estate, biotechnology, wearable tech, food, fashion, and beauty industries. In Spring 2016, I launched UNCMMN with product designer Funi Ding. I currently work in Los Angeles and am always interested in cool, collaborative work.
