THE MESH SHOP
Art direction + photography for a funky, Brooklyn based boutique specializing in handmade accessories. This series is for their summer inventory of choker necklaces — The Backyard Collection.
Issue 01 of The CC is a curated editorial that features an assemblage of articles regarding art and design. This was inspired by The Whole Earth Catalog, a counterculture magazine with a focus on holism, self-sufficient and alternative education, ecology, a "DIY" mindset. Each designer contributed four pages to the catalog, with topics ranging anywhere from wabi wabi to eggs. My personal contribution to the publication is Encyclopedia Aesthetica, which explores the maturation of aesthetics — how aesthetic taste is developed, aesthetic relativism and the lack of a universal criteria of beauty, and the link between creativity and mental control. CUT OFF THE WIRES
A poster for a hypothetical summer campout festival in California featuring music, art, food, and education.
ISO 216, THE A SERIES
A poster about international standard paper sizes, with a focus on the A size paper series. The main advantage of this paper system (simplified enlargement and reduction) is represented by a series of satellite views of Art Center's Hillside campus in Pasadena, California. This relationship between one space at different views echoes the relationship of one paper ratio at different sizes. The entire poster measures 1 square meter (841mm x 1189mm,) the base standard of A0 which all other paper sizes are derived from. Each division can be perforated to 100% scale of that A size paper.
